Misc. Art Showcase #2

Welcome to Miscellaneous Art Showcase #2!

If you just found this blog, you should absolutely read my first post, then read the second post. That way, you’ll learn about my game for context if you don’t know about it.

I’ve been trying to work on the demo for Randy’s Crazy Mission!, and that eventually gave me less time to write for this blog. That gave me the idea to make another Misc. Art Showcase after the first one I did a while back, so I can show some of the game’s art and animations I made and wanted to show publicly. That gives this blog some content until I post more important info regarding the demo. I’ve already posted a few of these pieces on my Newgrounds, DeviantArt, and GameJolt accounts before. You should check those out.

By the way, here’s my first art showcase if you want to see that beforehand:

Randall giving his big brother Roger what he deserves for the umpteenth time. Yeah, these two are brothers, I’ve said it before. Don’t ask.

This is an idle flying animation of the character Gertrude the Freakishly Large Moth. I talk about her and Red in my last blog post. You should check it out too.

“(Nom, nom, nom!) Oh, hi Randy! Uh, w-where did I get this bow tie I’m eating? U-uh… Okay, I admit it. I got it from this house. Very disrespectful, I know. I might as well finish this bow tie, since I’ve already started eating it.”

— Gertrude 1983

This is Ernie. He’s a pretty minor character. So, what’s his shtick? Well-

…Oh… Don’t worry, he’s a videogame character. He regenerated.

He’s really excited to grab a green apple-flavored sucker.

Look at THESE wimps!

Click on this GIF and look at the address bar to see what I named it.

“Would ya settle for a slow death? ‘Cause I would give you one for sure! Too bad there’s next to nothing that would make it permanent……………….. But, I WOULD execute you, and slowly, MUHAHAHAHA! Why is my hand behind my back? Isometric exercise, of course!”

— Corny the Squirrel 1983
